Barnards Farm

Barnards Farm
Year 1 spent a fabulous day at Barnards Farm discovering sculptures. After a lot of rain we were pleased to enjoy a dry, warm day.
There were over 100 different sculptures from all over the world around the grounds.  The children enjoyed mooching through the gardens and finding new and exciting objects. They were able to describe them and identify the materials used to make them. After lunch 'al fresco' both classes took time to observe the frogs in the pond.
This trip is amazing and covers so many curriculum areas including literacy, design and technology and science.
