In Year 2 this week, we will be learning;

To identify the key features of poems.
To write a variety of poems using contractions, subordination and rhyme.

Mathematics

In Year 2 this week, we will be learning;

To name and identify the properties of 2d and 3d shapes.
To sort shapes using different criteria.

This week in Year 1, we are learning to:

To write using the past tense;
To write in sentences;
To recognise repeated patterns in stories.

Mathematics

This week in Year 1, we are learning:

To name coins;
To add money;
To find change from an amount.

To add and subtract numbers accurately.
