Year 1 Autumn Walk

On a bright sunny afternoon Year 1 took a trip to Hacton Park. They had three objectives to cover.
  • Looking for signs of Autumn;
  • Road markings and road signs;
  • Park equipment and how it moves.
The children enjoyed their trip and noticed early signs of Autumn. They took turns on all the park equipment and discussed the materials used to make them. With their group leaders the children chatted about the different road markings and what they were there for.
A big thank you to all the parents who came with us, we really appreciate your help.

With the trip in mind the children have been writing poems relating to the season and have taken part in painting and leaf collage to name a few.
