Literacy

This week in Year 1, we are learning:

To read the story of The Gingerbread Man and answer questions.
To plan our own traditional tale;
To write our own traditional tale using full sentences.

Mathematics

This week in Year 1, we are learning:

To add 10 and 20 to a given number;
To subtract 10 and 20 to a given number;
To find the missing number in an addition sum. (e.g. 17 + ? = 24)
