Year 1 visited Barnards Farm to look at their selection of sculptures. The children identified each numbered sculpture and found out where it originated from. They were able to identify what material they were made of.
There are over 100 sculptures set in beautiful gardens.

Year 1: We Went on a Bear Hunt
On Friday 2nd October Year 1 went on a bear hunt. Armed with a map of the school the children looked for clues as they went on their quest to find a bear. They trampled through swishy swashy grass, located deep water (at the swimming pool) and found other clues. They heard the roar of a bear in the infant playground and finally arrived in the hall to be met by a circle of bears who shared their fruit and 'Pom Bears' with them.
The children can now mark off 'Going on a Bear Hunt' on their passports.
