To discuss and write about a favourite part of a story.

Mathematics

In Year 2 this week, we will be learning;

To count in halves and quarters.
To partition numbers and recognise 0 as a placeholder.

Literacy

In Year 2 this week, we will be learning;

To research and collect facts on Space.
To plan and write a letter.

Mathematics

In Year 2 this week, we will be learning;

To find 1/3 of shapes, objects and numbers.
To find fractions of numbers including 1/2, 1/3, 2/3, 1/4, and 3/4

Year 2 Objectives W/C 25.2.19

Literacy

In Year 2 this week, we will be learning;

To identify the features of Non-Fiction texts.
To be able to write a caption.

Mathematics

In Year 2 this week, we will be learning;

To recognise the values of different coins.
To solve money related word problems including adding coins and finding the change.
