To write addition sentences;
To write subtraction sentences;
To find missing numbers.

Literacy

In Year 2 this week, we will be learning;

To identify the key features of instructions.
To sequence and write a set of instructions.

Mathematics

In Year 2 this week, we will be learning;

To know that a 2 digit number is made up of tens and ones. E.G. 47 = 40 + 7
To find 10 more and 10 less than a number.
To add amounts of money up to 30p.

In Year 2 this week, we will be learning;

To write a description using adjectives.
To write our own version of a story using a plan.

Mathematics

In Year 2 this week, we will be learning;

To use the greater than and less than signs to compare numbers.
To solve problems involving estimation, odd and even numbers and counting in multiples of 2, 5 and 10.
