To write a poem using patterned language.

Mathematics

This week in Year 1, we are learning:

To tell the time to o’clock;
To tell the time to half past;
To use positional language to describe where an object is.

In Year 2 this week, we will be learning;

To identify the key features of poems.
To write a variety of poems using contractions, subordination and rhyme.

Mathematics

In Year 2 this week, we will be learning;

To name and identify the properties of 2d and 3d shapes.
To sort shapes using different criteria.
