Year 1 Christingle

In Year 1 the children have been learning about how Christians prepare for Christmas. They made their own Christingles and learned as they decorated them what each part represents.

We have been learning about solutions and this was by far the noisiest week. We mixed water with a detergent to create a solution (our favourite scientific word). We considered what would happen when we used air through a straw to alter the solution.
